First Goal Complete
I meant it to be a week between the first post and this second but I did not do that, which is okay, this is a fun thing and setting a goal and failing at a fun thing is fine.
I got the four Minotaurs onto 40mm round bases and my battle standard bearer painted up as shown below.
Again not the best photography but I think you can get the point. I am going to make a paper banner for my standard and I've been kicking around a variety of idea from skulls to magic runes. I also had the idea of two smaller ones hanging from each side but I have not settled yet.
Next is six Bestigors to body guard my general and follow him into battle! Also maybe I'll get that standard done too!

ReplyDeleteYou need to lay off the pressure on yourself to post on any sort of schedule and just do it when you can. I do hope you'll post those Beastigors at some point (NO PRESSURE!)
Are you doing these for Age of Sigmar or the Old World? Or something else entirely?

Oh nice! I was not aware there was a fantastical version of SAGA... I guess I shouldn't be surprised by that.
DeleteI have to admit, I was a little surprised to see someone painting someone painting batsmen on round bases in 2025 when I happen to know that in 2024 Games Workshop wrote beastmen out of Age of Sigmar (Fourth Edition)!? SAGA makes much more sense, I imagine there were a LOT of these being sold of cheap this past year!
